Daily guiding
$225 per day
Instead of a fully guided tour, perhaps you’d like to explore some on your own but would like a guide for a day or two. Having someone who knows the area, the culture, and the wildlife you’re looking at greatly enhances your experience! My area of expertise is insects, ecology, and Quito’s pre-Columbian history. If you’d like guides specifically for birds or perhaps mountains or perhaps Quito’s historic district – I’d be happy to help you find the perfect fit!

Tipping guides is customary (10%). Tipping is not included

Entrance fees may or may not be included but will be clearly communicated with you.

Lodging is not included. If you require your guide with you for multiple days, you will incur the guide's lodging.

Transportation is not included.

Meals are not included.

International airfare, alcoholic beverages, snack, laundry, traveler's insurance and /or Covid-19 testing are not included.
Trip Planning
$500
If you decide that a tour package is not right for you, I can assist making your reservations and helping you plan your perfect trip! Based on everything you tell me I will help you pick the right places for you based on what you like! After we’ve planned your trip, I’ll make all the reservations, so you don’t even have to think about it. I’ll make sure you get the best service from the hotels you choose including airport pickup / drop off, breakfast, and sometimes other perks! You’ll get one invoice and then when you show up in country – everything is all set up for you! Drivers, hotels, tours!

Specialized Group Tours
Do you have an idea for a specialty tour? Maybe you're bringing a group of students, or perhaps your group is interested in a photography workshops, or maybe you just want some quiet time to journal in nature! Whatever it is, I can help you organize a group trip in places that fit your needs! We can even talk about specific resources you'd like to provide to your group including workbooks, journals, printed lecture notes ...etc.
